Ambassadors help lead our efforts to improve the health

and well-being of Monterey County.

 

What is an Ambassador?
A Blue Zones Project Ambassador is a volunteer who serves as a knowledgeable representative of Blue Zones Project (BZP), providing information and outreach to the community about the benefits of adopting a Blue Zones lifestyle, including the Power 9 Principles.

An ambassador strives to engage the community at various events throughout Monterey County to provide first-hand knowledge about BZP Activities such as Walking Moais, Purpose Workshops, Cooking Classes, and Volunteer opportunities.

Who can be an Ambassador?
Anyone interested in sharing their passion for making the healthy choice the easy choice in Monterey County can be an Ambassador.

Requirements: 

  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to various events of your choice.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
